Kerintha Telugu Movie Review - 2.0/5.0

Kerintha Review : Though the trailer and content seems similar to regular college stories told in Happy Days,Life is Beautiful and Paathashala, as it is coming from Dil Raju, there were some expectations on 'Kerintha'.

But it offered nothing new. Same college backdrop, three love stories, three problems and one solution keeping the gaps filled with comedy.

Story Goes as  - Sumanth Ahwin,Sukeerthi,Tejaswi,Viswanath and Parvateesam are classmates and make good friends in no time.

Sukeerthi,Parvateesam are one pair, Viswanath,Tejaswi are the other. Sumanth falls in love with a jr doctor Sri divya.

Story revolves around these three pairs love stories,difference and patch ups.  Like in Happy Days, same comedy with Srikakulam slang used in 'Kerintha' too.

Telugu audiences are used to routine stories. So, fine. Lets see how other departments worked.

6 actors did fine and there is nothing much to prove for Sumanth and Sridivya. New faces Sukeerthi an dViswanath are good in their roles. Tejaswi Madiwada was cute. Parvateesam entertains with Srikakulam slang.

Direction by Sai Kiran Adivi' was so amateurish. He dragged some scenes, some goes in hurry. Screenplay lacks the emotional connectivity. Almost every scene reminds you of 'Seen Somewhere'. May be fresh students, who didnt watch other college based stories may connect to this little.

Micky J Mayer music is good, but songs placed irrelevantly.Cinematography by Vijay K Chakravarthy is good. Showcased College campus with fresh look. Editor could have cut the movie for 20 mins. Dialogues were ok. Production Values are fine.

On Whole, this product is readily available with different actors. Its your own wish to see it again !
