In a big relief to Indian railways passengers, a news is coming out that IRCTC is going to make some changes to tatkal category.
Right now, Tatkal quota doent have 'Cancellaion'. As it is costlier and no cancellation, its been a burden all these years. From Now, tatkal ticket can be cancelled with 50% of fare return.
Another change is, Tatkal A/C tickets can be booked from 10 AM to 11 AM, From 11 AM to 12 PM Non A/C tickets can be booked.
Official news about the date, from when these new rules are applicable will be out soon.
